• I’m ripped away from him, my chest flush against a table, fingers prodding me. I shake my head and claw at the table. Tears fill my eyes and the feel of his body against mine makes me want to vomit. I hate him. The world spins and I’m begging my best friend to take me. He does what I need. I can feel pieces of myself cracking and peeling before falling to the ground. I stare into a mirror of a woman I don’t recognize. A large finger tilts my chin up and brown eyes meet green. Fear and obedience bounce off the walls of my brain. They’re like bars keeping me locked in.
