Chapter 40 Always

• My body trembled against his, not from fear, but need. I felt utter humiliation at the way I was acting toward him. One half of me wanted to crawl into a hole and die, while the other half… the other half wanted to beg him to claim me. I closed my eyes to block the sight of him out. An alpha’s nose was stronger than the average wolf, and although he’s not alpha yet, it runs in his veins. His eyes lock on my lips and I push weakly against his chest.
