Chapter 65 Lying
- My eyes went wide and Gabe’s jaw dropped as we both turned to stare at Shane. His dark eyes were locked on Odis’ blue ones. Tension filled the air and I cleared my throat.
- “They just found each other yesterday. I doubt they’ve had time to discuss what they’re going to do, or even think about it yet,” I said. I leaned close and grabbed him by the ear when he didn’t lower himself. I pulled him down so I could whisper in his ear. “What’s going on with you? Be nice,” I hissed.
- “Sorry. I’ve always known what I’ve wanted, so I just expected you to too,” Shane said gruffly.
