Chapter 55 Whatever You Want

• My mate was a very large man, and even though he hadn’t taken over for his father yet, he was an alpha of alphas. He was going to be a formidable foe for any pack that wasn’t aligned with him. I felt very much like the prey as he caught me, I knew I was doomed as soon as he wrapped his arms around me, or maybe I never really had a chance. He carried me over to the sink and placed me on the counters.
• “Did you think you were going to get away?” Shane asked. There was a rumble to his voice that I felt all the way down in my center as he stood between my legs.
