• I take a deep breath and pretend to be as confident as the girl in the mirror. Glancing once more at my reflection, I turn from the mirror and walk out of my dressing room. Mavy’s jaw drops as her eyes land on me and Nikki’s eyes grow wide with surprise. Smiles flash across their faces as I strutted forward. I threw my foot out and rest my hands on my hips.
• “Purr… okay girl,” Nikki said.
