Chapter 54 Crazy

• The doors closed and Odis pressed the button with the number four. It lit up and the elevator moved. We stood in awkward silence for what felt like forever. Gabe was usually the one who would break the silence but I’m sure he had a lot on his mind after meeting that woman downstairs.
• “I originally had your room on the second floor but you’ll be on the fourth floor with me. The fourth floor is for Betas and Gammas but I think my mate would prefer it if you were close,” Odis said gruffly.
• “That’s.. thoughtful of you. Thank you,” I said cautiously as I glanced at Gabe.
