Chapter 53 Mates

• After the shock of Gabe finding his mate wore off and a lot of dry humping later, Shane and I followed the two men as we walked towards the packhouse. I stared a hole into their hands as Odis gripped Gabe’s wrist, leading him and us forward. The man stopped as soon as we walked through the archway and into the packhouse. Turning towards us, Gabe stopped at his side and he pulled at the tie to loosen it from around his neck.
• “I apologize for my behavior, I wasn’t expecting to find my mate today. Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Odis and I’m the Beta of The Desert Moon pack. Welcome to our humble home,” Odis’ mate said in a professional tone.
• I’d thought he could been the Alpha when I first saw him. He’s handsome, his eyes are kind even though his features are hard, and his suit is pulled taunt over his muscles. He looks so put together now and I couldn’t help but giggle as the memory of him looking anything but just a few minutes ago when he had Gabe by the throat against his challenger a few minutes ago. Gabe gave me a knowing look as he tore his gaze from the man for the first time since they found each other.
