Chapter 99
- Before arriving, I ask Ava again not to say anything, and once again she confirms that she won't. If they were to give me an award, it would be an Oscar for my great performance. I hug Ian despite feeling nauseous and pretend that everything is fine. Ava has given us the option of having the house to ourselves that night, with the excuse that they have something to do quickly in the city, so that we can talk calmly.
- I thanked her from the bottom of my heart, although I am certainly very nervous. I don't know how to start that conversation.
