• As agreed with Carolina, I meet her in her new office that has just been cleared out with some personal belongings of RocÃo. Before entering, I quickly send a message to my mother to let her know that today I will start my internship at I&P. Now that it's a reality, she is excited and sends me her best wishes.
• The last time I spoke to her, she mentioned that they would wait for my cousins to finish this semester before moving everything to our house. Mentally, I'm glad that we will all be together again, I miss my mom a lot, but at the same time, it's the first time I have a bit of independence and freedom. Well, for someone who is twenty-two, almost twenty-three, it's quite an achievement compared to some of my friends.
• Helena has never forbidden me from going out, however, the fact that it's just her and me supporting ourselves financially makes us have to work and be thrifty.
