Chapter 84

• What happened this afternoon at the office hangs over us. Knowing that David and Ximena have been lurking and trying to screw us over. Even worse, now they are harassing Ian, and who knows if someone else from his family.
• Arriving home, I rest for a moment and talk to my mother. It's almost time for her to come back. After that, I take a shower and get ready for the evening. I have the outfit prepared and also the roses that I will take to the cemetery the next day. I have set up a small Day of the Dead altar at home and prepared the grandparents' favorite food, as well as my father's, along with their photographs.
• I dress up and put on makeup for the occasion, except this time I will wear my hair under a black wig that Andrea's cousin lent me. At least I won't be recognized as much while I'm with Ian.
