Chapter 97

• After dinner, the kids made a bonfire in the backyard of the house. Everyone seemed very excited, except Ian. I know him so well that I know he's barely enjoying it. I want to cheer him up, tell him that I'll marry him, but who am I kidding, my mother doesn't even know we're together.
• Just the thought of how he'll react when I tell him we're together... I decide not to think about it for now, it's something I'll deal with when I return to Mexico. Ava and Kat share their experiences about pregnancy. Myra looks horrified and I don't really care, I listen to them and try to be understanding.
• The two of them seem very animated in the conversation until Derek joins in.
