• The journey back to Guadalajara felt quick. We arrived directly at my house and rested for a while before Ian had to return to his own home. I informed my mother that I had already returned from my "trip to the cabins".
• My mom is counting down the days until she can return, and I am counting down the days until I can shout from the rooftops that Ian and I are together.
• The Halloween and Day of the Dead party at the university is coming up this weekend, and Ian and I have planned to go as we did when we first met.
