- Kaemon didn’t say anything at first. He reached out and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as she cried. Sienna fought it for a moment, her body rigid with the weight of her anger and shame, but then the dam broke, and she let herself collapse against him. Her sobs were raw, uncontrollable, as years of bottled-up pain came rushing out.
- Kaemon stroked her hair gently, his voice calm and steady as he spoke into the silence between her tears. “Sienna, you’re not weak. You’re the strongest person I’ve ever known. What you went through... no one should ever have to experience that. But you survived it. You got out of it, and that takes more strength than you realize.”
