Chapter 5

• “I like the colour on this one, and this beige one has a retro vibe to it so this one as well. And those abstracts for the tote bags.” Sienna said as she selected a few designs and separated them from the pile.
• “I love this!” She exclaimed as she took out a design with a cat playing with the dot of the logo’s ‘I’.
• “This is very cute! Who came up with this?” Sienna asked holding it up for everyone to see.
• “I did. I’m glad you like it.” Rose spoke up,
• “Like it! I love it! Even if the higher ups reject this design, I will personally print it out for myself and whoever wants.” Sienna huffed and everyone present in the room chuckled. Sienna collected the designs she choose and gathered them up in a file.
• “Email me these designs and great work everyone! These designs are fantastic. And the ones that were not short listed will be evaluated for future projects.” The employees present there nodded and mingled amongst themselves as everyone started to leave. Sienna too gathered up her things and walked out of the conference room.
• “Sienna!” She stopped and turned around as someone called out her name.
• “Della asked me to hand you these documents.” She turned around to find Aubrey rushing towards her with a few files in her hand. Aubrey handed Sienna the documents.
• “Thank you,” Sienna said as she quickly went through the papers. “Where is Della? She was supposed to join me for a meeting in ten minutes.”
• “Della went to check out the production for your latest client.” Sienna closed her eyes trying to compose her bubbling anger as she heard Kaemon’s voice coming from behind.
• “Hello Kaemon,” Aubrey said in a shaky voice looking all flustered and Sienna could barely hold back a gag.
• Sienna glanced at her and she was nervously smiling before looking all embarrassed when she was met with Sienna’s scrutiny.
• “I should go,” Aubrey said and left before Kaemon could say anything.
• Sienna turned around to find Kaemon standing there with his hand raised in air to say goodbye or hello. But he shrugged and turned to Sienna after Aubrey rushed away. Sienna tried her level best to not narrow her eyes at him it was already becoming like a habit to her that she can’t seem to let go of.
• “As Della is not here, I will be joining you.” Kaemon said with his classic smile.
• “I’ll send you the meeting link in ten minutes. Will it be alright?’ Sienna asked and he smiled down at her. This asshole. She thought to herself.
• “It will be perfect. But instead of sending me the meeting link, set up the meeting in the conference room one. It will be more efficient.” Kaemon suggested as he started to walk towards the conference room Sienna had just walked out of.
• “Sure,” She grumbled, and he turned around to give her one of his signature smiles.
• “Great, see you in ten then.”
• Sienna’s hands were itching to meet his face, as hard as possible, in a single blow. Only Sienna knew how badly she wanted to wipe that sexy smile off his face. Even though Kaemon’s smile alone was enough to sway anyone off their feet, his smile irked Sienna even more than his face did. Sienna groaned in frustration and walked into her office.
• Sienna slumped down on her chair and on queue a notification popped up on her computer screen. She clicked on the notification and an email popped up from one of her many bosses.
• “Are you kidding me!” Sienna groaned as she read through the mail. The email contained the information about another new client they were forwarding to her. And on top of that, she was required to make an entire proposal by the end of that day. The only person’s name in fault of this situation popped up in her head was Kaemon. Sienna wanted to bang her head against the table.
• “It’s been only two days since that asshole returned! Two days!” Sienna screamed internally and started flipping through the documents Della had left for her. The new client could certainly wait.
• Sienna knocked on the conference room door as she pushed the glass door open and peeked inside. Kaemon glanced up and returned his attention to the laptop screen in front of him. She walked inside and set down her laptop and the files she had been carrying. Kaemon had his headphones on and typed away doing whatever he was busy with while she set up the laptop and the things she needed for the meeting.
• “Are you ready?” Sienna yelped when he suddenly asked, and only then she noticed him standing right beside her. He was closer than she would have preferred. Sienna could practically smell his cologne and feel the warmth radiating from his body.
• And goodness gracious was it alluring. Focus Sienna!
• Sienna cleared her throat trying to adjust her posture, she shifted in her chair, “Yes, I am mailing the client the meeting link.” She informed as she typed away on her laptop and attached the meeting link. From the corner of her eyes, she noticed Kaemon walk to the other side of the table and close his laptop.
• He grabbed his belongings with him and walked back to her, his eyes fixed on her face. He plopped down on the chair beside her, making her jump slightly. He brought his chair closer to hers, invading her personal space. He leaned in and whispered in her ear,
• “Done mailing?” Kaemon’s voice and breath were so close that she felt a shiver run down her spine. She yelped and pressed send, hoping to end the awkward moment. Only to realise, she hadn’t yet pasted in the meeting link. She felt her face heat up as she saw his smirk. He knew what he was doing to her, and he enjoyed it.
• “Fuck,” Sienna cursed under her breath and started writing another mail. And waited for the client to write back.
