- Kaemon ended the call with a satisfied smirk. “Is there any chance I could get in touch with him?” he had asked, and now the text he'd been waiting for flashed across his screen. He finally had the number he’d been chasing for days. Triumph surged through him as he placed the phone on the nightstand, only to glance over at the woman beside him.
- Sienna was asleep, her face soft and peaceful in the early morning light. Last night, her fiery anger had transformed into something much more intense. She hadn’t let him rest for a single moment, her passion as fierce as her temper, leaving his back and arms tingling with the scratches she’d clawed into him.
