Chapter 26

• The morning sunlight poured in, painting the apartment with warmth. Sienna stood in front of her closet, pondering over what to wear for the day. Finally, she opted for a chic navy-blue dress that accentuated her curves perfectly. With a matching blazer and heels laid out neatly on the bed, she made her way to the kitchen. Surprisingly early for once, the thought of enjoying a leisurely cup of coffee put a smile on her face.
• As she stepped out of her room, she heard a commotion from the living room. Curiosity piqued, she strolled over to find Pearl, her vivacious and adventurous best friend, hurriedly stuffing a duffle bag.
• “Hey, where do you think you’re sneaking off to?” Sienna called out, catching her red-handed as she tried to make her stealthy exit from the apartment. Pearl turned around with a playful grin on her face.
