Chapter 1

  • “But you can not do that! I have already promised the launching date to the clients!” Sienna Margot protested as the man she was throwing daggers at through a virtual meeting shook his head.
  • “I don’t believe the product is yet set for such big launching event and if you cared so much about the clients, you would have made better design and more quality full product. I don’t want to hear anything about this any longer.” Sienna gritted her teeth in anger as her fist clenched. She quickly walked out of her cabin before she ended up smashing the computer screen that was displaying him.
  • “I swear the next time I see him; I will end up breaking a few of his bones. I am thru caring about the consequences!” Sienna slammed her fists on her office table.
  • Della threw her head back and laughed out loud as Sienna plopped down on the chair across from her. Even though Della was laughing, she knew Sienna was not joking, mainly because she has said the same phrase at least a thousand times over the years they have worked together. Della knew how much Sienna despised Kaemon Mace. Not only Della, half of the office knew how much Sienna hated Kaemon. Kaemon is the person whom Sienna blames for everything that is wrong with her life. He single handily made her dream job into a living breathing nightmare.
  • When Sienna joined Lowe Printify Limited, she was placed under Kaemon’s supervision. Ever since she started working directly under him, he made sure to screw her life one way of another. First, Kaemon robbed her commission away, he kept Sienna in the dark about the important projects going on and he is the reason why she woke up every single morning with the thoughts of committing homicide. And at times she was only breaths away from losing her cool and smacking him right across his handsome face. Even though Kaemon also had a huge role to play in her promotion to become the assistant manager of sales, she could not be bothered about such minor details.
  • “Can you believe he ended up pushing the launching date of Jenna’s merch again? After I spent all those hours with the designing team, the production team. And the promotion team is also all set to launch the merch. He told me the merch will be good to go and I promised Jenna exactly that! She even hyped her fans about all of this! After months of designing and meetings with the acquisitions team, he just flat out rejected the launch proposal yet again!” If the walls of Sienna’s modern office room were not sound proofed, it is certain Kaemon would have heard her shouting through the zoom meeting on the other side of the hallway. She can be loud when angry.
  • Sienna knew Della could clearly tell where this story was going. “I understand...”
  • “The release date comes and goes, and then Jenna emails me demanding to know why she still hasn’t received the sample, telling me how she hasn’t yet delivered what she promised her fans. There are hundreds of pending pre-orders for the merch. And she's pissed. And guess who has to take the burn of it because she's the head executive of sales and has become Jenna's punching bag at Lowe Printify?” Sienna pointed at herself. “This stupid bitch.” She was seething in anger by that point.
  • Even though Sienna herself was never in such situation, she one hundred percent could understand why Jenna was so angry. Sienna would have been angrier if she had not received her pre-ordered goods after two months of the supposed delivery date. Sienna would have thrown hands with the company, where Jenna is being civil at the matter. Sienna wouldn’t have informed Jenna to accept pre-orders for her merch if Kaemon had not approved it. But now, the products are sitting around collecting dust in the warehouse, because Kaemon is not happy with the production quality. The only reaction Sienna is seeing fitting in this matter is the thought of murder. The only thought except for murder Sienna is having, is how Kaemon should be considering how unprofessional the whole situation is making them look and the reputation of Lowe Printify is being hampered.
  • The situation was poor all things considered, and Sienna being the only one in charge of the project made her look like the incompetent person. Even if Kaemon's team was in charge of approving and releasing the product, Sienna was still the one Jenna despised.
  • In other situations, she would have been able to brush it off, but the main issue was this wasn’t the first time he had made her professional life miserable, and this made her feel like she was on fire from the inside out. From the looks of it, it seemed to Sienna as if he was determined to sabotage all of her projects, to ensure she failed at every turn. Besides that, she has spent blood, sweat and tears creating, designing and producing the merch on Jenna’s behalf making sure she was satisfied to have her name on them, so the situation felt even more personal. And she absolutely hated him for this.
  • Sienna had rushed about setting up meetings with Jenna; she was the one who brough her proposal in. And it was her who set up the meetings between her and the design team. Sienna went as far as to hand-pick the fabric for the t-shirts. Sienna’s team makes sure the socialite has everything in their disposal to design and make the perfect merch for their fans. And the company continues to sell and produce them until they stop bringing money.
  • Sienna came up with the ideas for the diverse selection of merchandises for Jenna and this was her first project in the new position. Not to mention this was the first time she was dealing with a client personally. But when the release date came and went, with angry clients questioning why they didn’t get their favourite Youtuber’s merch, she was ready to fully physically fight Kaemon Mace. And just for public information, Sienna was not afraid to use knives.
