- Sienna ended up paying the price for leaving Kaemon without attending to him properly. By morning, she could barely walk without wincing, her entire body sore from the night they’d spent together. The memory of it lingered on her skin, every step reminding her of the intense passion that had unfolded at Kaemon’s apartment. She ached in places she didn’t know could ache, and yet she already missed his touch, the way he’d made her feel utterly consumed and cherished.
- After Kaemon had dropped her off at her building, he had offered to carry her to her apartment, but Sienna had refused.
