Chapter 93
- On the other hand, ever since that stranger called Marcus and demanded the document, Marcus had been on edge. He knew the importance of the document and the consequences of not delivering it to the stranger. With a sigh, he agreed to meet the stranger today so he could hand over the document.
- Marcus was sleeping peacefully when the sound of his phone ringing shattered the silence of the room. He groggily reached for his phone and answered it, the caller's voice was cold and distant as she reminded him of their meeting in the next two hours. She emphasised the importance of punctuality and ended the call without waiting for Marcus' response.
- Rubbing his eyes, Marcus sat up in bed and immediately snapped out of his drowsiness as he remembered that the assassins who were supposed to deliver the document to him hadn't shown up yet. He reached for his phone and dialled their number, his voice urgent as he demanded to know the whereabouts of the document. The assassins assured him that they would bring it to his house in the next thirty minutes and Marcus breathed a sigh of relief as he ended the call.
