• It was a gloomy afternoon in the UK as Alexander sat next to his mistress, Isabella, in the grand sitting room of his mansion as their eyes were on the television screen. For ever since Isabella had first visited Alex, she had refused to go back to her home. Instead, she had brought more of her clothes on several occasions, making it clear that she had no intention of leaving.

A sudden interruption abruptly pulled him out of his daze. His cell phone buzzed on the table, its screen illuminating with Valerie's name. Confusion clouded his face as he wondered why his sister would be calling from the Lycan Kingdom.
• Realising the urgency of the situation, he swiftly excused himself from Isabella's company. With a quick smile, Alex made his way to his room, closing the heavy door soundlessly, hoping to shield Isabella from the impending news; he doesn't want her to overhear his conversation with Valerie. As he picked up the call, he leaned against the cool wall, his mind racing to comprehend the words pouring out of his sister's mouth.
