• It was night and the moon shone brightly in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the pack house, she was able to join the next available flight. Azalea moved stealthily through the shadows, her heart pounding in her chest. She had to be careful not to be seen by anyone as she made her way towards Alice's room. All the pack members were already asleep.
• Finally, Azalea arrived at Alice's door and knocked softly. After a few moments, the door creaked open and Alice's tired face appeared. She was surprised to see Azalea standing there and quickly pulled her inside, shutting the door behind her.
• In a whisper, Azalea asked Alice how her baby was doing. Alice nodded towards the crib where her son lay sleeping peacefully. Azalea walked over to the crib and gazed down at the tiny bundle, her heart swelling with love.
