• Back in the hospital, it had been one week since Alpha Alex's hand was chopped off by the doctors, and he was still in the early stages of recovery. The doctors had been cautious, not allowing anyone to visit him until today. As he lay on the bed, his body still weak, he heard the sound of the door opening, and he turned his head to see Isabella walking in.
• "Here's your phone you requested for," Isabella said softly, handing him the device. Alex managed a weak smile of gratitude as he accepted it. He appreciated Isabella's presence, as she was the only one who had been by his side throughout this times.
• "How are you feeling?" Isabella asked with genuine concern, pulling up a chair and sitting beside him. Alex's voice was still barely a whisper, but he managed to croak, "Fine, considering the circumstances."
