Chapter 168

  • When Serena and Azalea finally arrived back home after a wild night of partying, they collapsed onto the bed in a heap. The room looked like a tornado had ripped through it, with clothes strewn everywhere and empty glasses scattered on every available surface. Serena and Azalea’s hair was a tangled mess, their makeup smeared, and they both looked utterly exhausted.
  • As the morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, Serena stirred from her slumber. She groaned softly as she rubbed her temples, her head throbbing from the drinks she had indulged in the night before. Disentangling herself from the twisted sheets, Serena stumbled her way to the bathroom, her movements slow and unsteady.
  • Turning on the faucet, Serena splashed some cold water on her face, wincing as the chill seeped into her tired skin. She reached for her toothbrush and began to mechanically brush her teeth, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep and alcohol that clung to her like a stubborn shadow.
