• The local hospital had managed to stabilise Azalea's erratic breath as the man quickly called the private number and pleaded for immediate help.
• A few hours later, the wailing sirens announced the arrival of an ambulance. The doors swung open with a metallic screech, revealing a team of paramedics. Carrying her unconscious body with extreme care, they placed her into the ambulance and drove off.
• As they got to their destination, doors swung open once again as it revealed a team of doctors and nurses. They immediately ushered her inside, manoeuvring through the corridors as medical professionals prepared themselves for the urgent surgery.
