• Later that evening, Sophia had been cooped up in her room for what felt like an eternity. Frustration lingered like an unwelcome guest in her mind, and she longed for the solace of a quiet walk around the pack house.
• Determined to put her worries aside, Sophia slipped into a beautiful short gown, the soft fabric flowing gracefully around her as she moved and stood in front of her mirror. With a careful touch, she applied a light amount of makeup to her face and she was careful not to hit her injury by mistake. She had to be extra cautious not to disturb her wound, knowing that any unwelcome contact could potentially ruin the healing process.
• Taking one last look in the mirror, Sophia let out a deep breath, releasing some of the tension that had built up throughout the day. She made her way towards the field.
