Chapter 31

• Hours had passed, and Ryan was still in the hospital room. He had just finished the final round of his IV drip, and the nurse had told him he was free to leave after receiving the drip. But just as he was about to leave, the non stop ringing of his phone shattered the silence.
• He glanced at the caller ID, and his heart skipped a beat. It was his brother Sean. He had been trying to reach Ryan for hours but he wasn't picking up. With a sigh, Ryan answered the call. Sean's panicked voice filled his ears.
• "Ryan! Thank God you finally picked up. It's Elizabeth... she's not getting any better."
