• The next day, Dimitri and Sophia made their way to the hospital, their precious baby cradled in Sophia's arms. The tension in the air was palpable as they entered the sterile white walls of the hospital. They approached the front desk, and after a brief wait, they were directed to the office of Dr. Williams, the geneticist who would be conducting the DNA test.
• Dr. Williams welcomed them warmly and led them into a small consultation room. He looked at the baby in Sophia's arms and smiled kindly before starting the procedure. As the DNA samples were collected, Dimitri and Sophia exchanged furtive glances, their anxiety bubbling just beneath the surface.
