• At the end of the day, Alaric told everyone to leave, which caused me to get more hateful looks as the two girls thought they would get rooms in the mansion like I did. But now I know Alaric’s reason for that, and if real life werewolves were like anything in fiction, that the thought of being around any other woman would repulse him.
• “Lee-Anna,” Alaric’s voice came, causing me to pause with my hand on the doorknob.
