Chapter 81

  • Alpha Denver stepped off the plane onto Texan soil, a surge of anticipation coursing through his veins. After months of being away, serving in foreign lands, he was finally back in his own country—a land he loved and cherished deeply. But as he gazed upon the Kingdom he once called home, his heart sank, and frustration slowly began to replace the excitement that had originally consumed him.
  • Where majestic buildings once stood tall, now only remnants of destruction remained. His once thriving pack—his family—laid scattered on the ground, injured and in agony. The anger within him swelled with each passing moment, as he took in the unfathomable scene before him. His eyes narrowed, scanning the ruined landscape, his fists clenched tightly at his sides.
  • As Alpha Denver let out a guttural groan, it echoed through the desolate streets, mingling with the cries of the wounded. It was a sound born out of immense frustration and sorrow, as he struggled to come to terms with what had transpired in his absence. He had worked tirelessly to establish peaceful alliances, to build bridges with neighboring packs, and now it all lay in ruins.
