Chapter 13

• Camila’s heart was pounding in her chest as she was forcefully dragged by the cruel Alpha Denver into a dimly lit room. She stumbled to keep up with his pace, her feet barely touching the ground as he pulled her closer and closer to the bed at the center of the room.
• She knew she was in trouble. She’d broken one of his rules, and Denver never took disobedience lightly. Camila had thought that she could get away with it, that she could bend the rules just a little bit and still remain in his good graces. But she didn't do it intentionally.
• But now, as she was being pushed down onto the bed, she saw the anger burning in his face.
