Chapter 20

• As weeks passed by…
• Camila moved in her sleep, her hand unconsciously moving to her stomach. She felt an odd sensation that she couldn't quite understand. It was as if something was blooming inside her, something warm and soft that spread through her body like a gentle wave.
• She opened her eyes slowly, the darkness of her small apartment surrounding her. She could see the faint outline of the furniture in the room, and the soft glow of the streetlights outside the window. She sat up, feeling a bit dizzy, and called out to her servant Emily.
