• Amelia stepped into the grand entrance of the hotel, the cool air-conditioned lobby providing a welcome respite from the sweltering heat outside. The marble floors gleamed under the soft glow of crystal chandeliers, and the scent of fresh flowers filled the air. She walked up to the reception desk, where a friendly-faced receptionist greeted her with a warm smile.
