The soft glow of his room's blue light colour casted a warm ambiance in his room, creating a peaceful sanctuary. As he brushed droplets of water off his face, he heard a gentle knock on the door, followed by his mother's voice.
• "Kai, can I come in?" Camila's melodious voice resonated through the door.
• A genuine smile spread across Kai's face, feeling a surge of comfort rush through his veins. He hurriedly grabbed his pyjama pants and slipped them on before swiftly opening the door for his mother, inviting her into his personal space.
