• David was sitting in his office, working on a new project, when he heard a knock at the door. He quickly glanced at his watch and saw that it was already mid-afternoon, wondering who could be visiting him at this hour. He called out for the person to come in, and his manager walked through the door.
• "Hey David," his manager said with a smile. "Good news, I just wanted to let you know that CEO Kai has replied to our email regarding his invitation to give a speech at our upcoming conference."
