Chapter 63 Count On Me

• I wake up in a dark and wet room. The stuff under me is hard and cold. I reach out my hands to touch the stuff under my body and realize that it is the ground. I am on the ground! I can not believe it. The last time I was injured and opened my eyes, I was in a soft bed in a warm room. I sit up and look around. There are cold iron bars around me. “ Is this a prison?” I whisper but no one answers me.
• I close my eyes to recall the memory. It happened all of a sudden. At that time, I was sitting on Cody's legs and Cody was lying on the roses. The sharp silver pieces seem to be from the roses. But where are these solar pieces from? I certainly remember something. I remember that when I was examining the roses I saw some shiny little things among the roses and I asked Betty. And that time, Betty told me that they were decorations. So, it is most likely to be better. I take a deep breath to calm myself down. That is hard to believe. • Suddenly, the door to my cell is opened. I raise my head and against the light, I see Alger.
