Chapter 62 Cody Is Hurt
- “Emelia... What happened? Why is it like this?” I notice that Cody is staring at the flowers and candles on the ground. I think he has not ever seen things like these, so I explain. “ Cody, thank you for the care these days. I heard that the first snow is very important for werewolves, so I planned a date. Hope you like it.” I lower my head and dare not to look Cody in the eye. I am shy now.
- Cody smiles. “Well done!” I raise my head and see Cody’s eyes smiling as well. I pull Cody by his hand and ask, “ Do you know what these flowers are?” Cody shakes his head slightly. “ Let me tell you. These are roses, representing... love.” I am loud at first but my voice trails off in the end. “ Representing what?” I feel embarrassed and try to hide my head in my breasts when Cody raises my head. I finally notice that his eyes are filled with evil grins. I punch Cody in the chest and shout, “ You have heard me speak. You know it. You know it!”
- Cody holds my hands and kisses me on the lips. He is like a thief stealing away all the air within me. I close my eyes and let myself drawn in the sea full of Cody. The air I can breathe has his smell. What is more, he is even controlling my breath now. “ Cody, why do not we lie on the roses?” After Cody finally lets me go, I suggest he lie on the roses because I think it is romantic to lie on the romantic flowers to appreciate the moon which werewolves favor in the first Snow which werewolves love.
