Chapter 60 Romantic Woods

• “ He does these not because he is a kind man but because he loves you.” But at last, I say nothing. After all, it is none of my business. I pick things I need quickly and put them on immediately. I choose a ruby necklace, the earrings from the same series of jewelry, a short rose colored dress and a pair of leather high heel shoes. Looking into the mirror, I look like a little princess against the background of imperial Palace. Suddenly, I notice the crystal crown on Betty is dressing table. I put it on too. When I look into the mirror and see me with the crown, I laugh. “ Maybe the lunar of the pack dresses this way.” I say to myself.
• They fit me pretty well. I am happy now, but I do not want to spend too much time in this room. After all, things here do not belong to me. I do not want to envy others’ happiness because it will only make me unhappy and nothing else. I am about to leave when Betty says, “ Leave the clothes here. I will pack them and send them to you afterwards.” I am confused why I can not take them back myself when Betty says, “ Why do not you come to the dating place to have a look? • I follow Betty to the woods behind the palace. I have never been there no matter day or night. From the palace to the woods, there is a long way to go.
