Chapter 110 I Belong To Cody's World

• Before I head for the door, I say, “I promise I will come back to see you again.” Thinking of leaving this familiar home, my eyes are wet again. Tears fall down from my eyes along my cheeks dropping onto the floor. Although I ask more love from them and they can not give me, this is my home. Although my parents are ordinary and they can do nothing for me now, I feel terrible leaving them. I sigh.
• When my hands finally touch the door knob, I hear a voice behind. “Can you stay a little longer?” My dad asks. I smile. My father still cares about me. “I really can not. I am so sorry.” I say as I start crying hard again while saying goodbye to my parents. They both look so devastated to see me leaving again so soon as they walk towards me to the door. I give them each a longer hug before I pull away and wipe my tears away when I turn around.
• Cody is right. It only hurts more to say goodbye again after meeting them after such a long period of time. I open the door and slip out, hearing my parents both sigh so heartbreaking behind me. I can not stand to hear them so I quickly run down the porch to Cody’s car and get inside. At this moment, I feel that maybe I belong to Cody’s world rather than my parents world. This feeling is weird and I do not know why. My parents did miss me and they did care about me. Why am I feeling like this?
