Chapter 69 The Wedding
- Annie looks absolutely radiant, her dress is dreamy, and all the bridesmaids are here accompanying her while she gets ready and poses for thousands of photos. She's relatively calm, and we all try to make her laugh, to distract her and make her think of something else. My sister, although she's the maid of honor, seems to be somewhere else, and something tells me it has to do with her supposed boyfriend who hasn't shown up, even though she has sent him thousands of messages, it seems like there's no response.
- Did she really think he would come? She's never even seen him! So I try to do what she doesn't. I'm by Annie's side all the time, fixing any little detail, and bringing her delicious things to eat, since she hasn't eaten much due to nerves and the stress of the day.
- When I entered the venue and walked around, admiring the arrangements on the tables in the grand hall, I'm amazed at how everything turned out, it's all exceptional and beautiful. I think Annie is going to cry, and I know it won't be the only time today. There are small flower decorations and truly beautiful details on the ceiling, on the folds of the napkins, on the little signs at the entrance, and I think even the glasses have little sparkles, and a wonderful scent of flowers fills the air. I feel proud, without a doubt, it's what Annie asked for and more. Eva is absorbed in looking at every detail and she hugs me enthusiastically, thanking me for my help, it was a job done by a great group of people.
