Chapter 23 Kindness

• "Michelle..." Katie says, surprised, and turns her back to me, but I can still see that she must be putting on her best smile.
• "Is everything alright, Adelaida?" I see Michelle's head suddenly appear in my field of vision. "I heard shouting..." she says, giving Katie a disapproving look.
