Chapter 36 Memories
- "I can't believe they keep all these things. It's like a trip to the past. I feel like a child again!" Billy says. And it's true. The Clarks are the kind of people who still print photos. And so many photos! There are albums, clippings, memories, and a thousand other things as if they wanted to remember every detail of the family, especially the early years of their children.
- The wedding planner had suggested to Annie that they could project childhood, adolescence, and overall life photos and videos of the bride and groom, including their family and loved ones, on a screen. And here we were in the basement of the Clark's house, reliving memories. There were boxes and boxes of photos, albums, and other memories that included Annie, Brandon, Billy, my sister, and me, among many other things.
- I see photos of us dressed up for Halloween, in school plays, on vacation at their house, at the beach. Annie and Fernanda are always together, posing like models, blowing kisses to the camera, and smiling perfectly. Sometimes I was with Billy, but mostly with... Brandon.
