Chapter 68 In The House Of Dreams

  • The next morning I wake up to the sound of the waves, and I believe it's the best alarm clock in the world. Brandon is sleeping beside me, slightly covered with the sheets, seeming tangled in a sea of white fabric. I watch him sleep, so peacefully... he always gets up to make breakfast or something, and now we're on a short vacation. He looks tired, but the reality is that we had a... quite eventful night. Even I took the initiative... I feel more and more comfortable with him.
  • Brandon is... lacking a better word, art: his muscular chest rising and falling slowly while his skin looks shiny, golden, with that tan that I don't know how he achieves, I remain pale no matter what I do. His hair tousled on the pillow, his firm and toned legs uncovered and much more, his head resting on one hand while his other arm extends near me as if he's getting closer to me while he sleeps, always trying to be together. I simply stay there watching as if I'm witnessing the most beautiful sunset... the man I liked and loved the most in my life. Just admiring him, his freckles, his little wrinkles, the freckles on his torso... delighting in having this man by my side, he's become so familiar to me that I can't believe it.
  • But no matter how much I want to, I can't control myself, I can't touch him. I run my fingers along his face, touching his blonde eyebrows, his full lips, his soft eyelids, and he starts to smile even without opening his eyes. My thumb stops at the beginning of his beard, those little golden glimmers. He sighs and murmurs in a delightful way.
