• This place is probably the most luxurious hotel I have ever been in. It’s breathtaking. Is this what he was talking about with the expensive life thing? Is this normal for him? I shake my head.
• “How the other half live, hey,” I sigh to Max. He smiles and nods, understanding my meaning. We walk up a wide corridor. Exclusive artwork lines the walls and the carpet is plush underfoot. Large fresh flowers adorn the antique benches. Beautiful chandeliers hang low. The sheer grandeur of this place only adds to my nerves. We finally arrive at the door.
