Chapter 533 Who Is She

• Christopher hadn't come back for several days. Diane had hardly gone out during the first couple of days. In the days after that, she went to work at NG Enterprise and went straight home after work every single day. After she came back and calmed down for a while, she was no longer as resentful as she had been that night at Evergreen Incorporated, so she went to NG Enterprise, thinking that she might run into him. To her surprise, however, he hadn't come to the company over the past several days.
• More than a week passed without anyone noticing. That guy actually cast me aside. He doesn't show up and divorce me, nor does he try to ease our relationship. Nobody knew what he was thinking, but in any case, he had avoided her.
• Since he avoided her, Diane didn't intend to go to him again. She knew very well what kind of a person he was. If he'd figured everything out, he would've come to her on his own. Since he hadn't come to her, it'd mean that he was still suspecting her inwardly. In that case, why should she try to butter him up? What was the need for her to suck up to a man who refused to have the most basic trust in her? When it came down to it, even if she was no longer as impulsive as she had been that night, there was no way she could pretend that this had never happened. It was like a thorn in her side that she wasn't able to pull out for a moment.
