Chapter 161 Admit That You Miss Me
- “Are you sick?” Christopher pulled Diane back when he noticed that she had a nasally voice. Upon seeing her face, he immediately reached out his hand and put it on her forehead. Her cheeks were red, but it didn’t seem to be caused by the wind. Instead, she looked like she was having a fever. He felt her forehead with his palm, and it was just as he had expected. “You’re having a fever, Diane. How could you put yourself in such a state?” He was furious, and his eyes were even colder than the cold wind whistling on the top of the building.
- “Fever…” Diane didn’t believe Christopher’s words, though. When he put down his hand, she raised her hand and felt the temperature of her forehead on her own. Then, she muttered, “I just had a transfusion…”
- Christopher’s face darkened further when the cold wind brought her whisper into his ears. After staring at the woman before him for a while, he let go of her, took off his suit jacket, and draped it around her shoulders. “Go down with me,” he grunted while taking her hand.
