Chapter 378 Why Are You Asking About This?

• The nanny, who had gotten a restful night of sleep, came to take over Diane's job in the morning. Diane eventually allowed herself to lie down in the empty bed in their room after making sure that Noah was fast asleep. Even though she did manage to get some shuteye, she woke up about 30 minutes later. She felt uneasy in her sleep as she was constantly worried about her son.
• Diane woke up just in time for breakfast. The hospital provided catered food for them, and both Diane and the nanny didn't mind having it even though it didn't taste quite as good as the food at home. Someone knocked on their door a while after they finished their breakfast. The door had been slightly ajar from the start, and Diane was sitting beside Noah's bed while feeling the temperature of his face worriedly. When she heard the knock, she turned around to see a man standing outside the door.
• "Old Mr. Jensen? What are you doing here?" Diane was shocked to see the man. She quickly pulled her hand away before getting to her feet. Stephen no longer seemed as lively as he did the night before, and he seemed to be eyeing the child in the room. "Can I come in?" he asked.
