Chapter 374 The Outcome
- "It's fine. I just came back, so I'm probably just tired from all the traveling," Diane explained. Since Noah was shy with strangers, Diane didn't force the kid into Maureen's arms just for the sake of Maureen's pleasure. Instead, Diane continued holding Noah in her hands. Maureen didn't think much about this—she simply tried to make eye contact with the young boy, and she shifted her position and tapped the kid on his back when he didn't respond to her.
- "You heartless kid. Have you forgotten about me after we've been apart for just a few days? I'm so sad!" Mauren pinched Noah on the cheeks, and Noah rolled his eyes before turning his face away from her. This amused Maureen. "Look at your son. He acts as if he's the president of a company. Did he just look down on me? How dare he?" Maureen feigned anger as she teased the kid. To her surprise, Noah was extremely calm, and he didn't respond to Maureen at all. Diane was just as amused by her child's behavior, and she patted the boy's back as she strolled around the shop. She froze when she saw the flowers that were placed deeper inside the store.
- "Did you add all these new items in the past few days when I wasn't around? What… What are these? I don't even know its names," Diane commented. "Well, these are…" Maureen walked over with a rather unnatural smile on her face. Diane was puzzled by the sight of this. "What is it? Is it a secret? It's not an order that some prince made for his princess, is it?" Diane teased.
