  • "Christopher..." Angelica breathed out like a prayer once she caught sight of him, her heart pounding erratically. As always he looked breathtaking. His tall frame leaned against the rusty swing set, both hands tucked into his pocket. She could tell from the tenseness of his frame that he had seen her, and without meaning to, she smiled even though tears had formed in her eyes.
  • Christopher finally pushed himself off the swing set, and took cautious calculated steps towards her and into the light reflecting from the street lamp.
  • Their breaths hitched as they finally got a clearer view of each other's faces. Over the course of the years, what the other looked like had slowly blurred in their minds, but now that they could finally see the other, the urge to jump on each other's bones was overwhelming.
