• Asher stumbled into the house a little bit past midnight. He had spent his time driving round the city, at a point, he thought of calling Christopher, but their last encounter replayed in his mind and kept him from pulling through with his plans. He didn't want anyone rubbing his situation into his face because of a stupid bet.
• Finally, he pulled into a bar, but he could barely drink anything as he had to drive himself back home.
• Lily stirred awake at the sounds of the footsteps, and she slowly raised her head from the dinning table to get a good look at the reason behind the footsteps, and she immediately met Asher's confused gaze.
