Chapter 20

• "Lily, hold on and let me explain!" Asher called out, but Lily tuned him out, marching straight to the hotel room. A frustrated sigh left Asher's lips and he hastened his steps in a bid to catch up with her. "For the love of God, let me explain myself!" He reached out and held her hand, stopping her.
• Lily immediately snatched her hand out of his, her breathing heavy, and her eyes glossy, but that didn't stop her from glaring at him. "You can take your explanation and shove it up your ass for all I care, Mr Allard. There's no explanation for what I saw out there!" She shot him another glare and made to walk away, but she stopped and turned back to look at him. "You know, you are actually an asshole. A big time asshole, a hypocrite and a man that can't make up his goddamn mind"
